Queen Creek Olive Mill expands existing solar installation

Royal Solar of Arizona is proud to announce that we have completed a solar system expansion for the Queen Creek Olive Mill in Queen Creek, Arizona by installing a a new 60 kW solar electric system on the roof of their recently expanded facility.  This new system is comprised of LG 265 watt solar panels with Enphase Energy micro inverters.

Royal Solar was originally chosen by Queen Creek Olive Mill to install a 50kW solar installation in 2011, and was chosen again in 2013 to expand on the original installation.

We are very happy to have been able to again work with the ownership and management of this organization committed to Sustainable Farming.  The clean solar energy will be used to offset the mill’s electricity usage, and will reduce their electric bills significantly.

Here are some statistics about Queen Creek Olive Mill’s upgraded solar system:

  • Total System Size: 110 kW-DC
  • Number of solar panels: 444
  • Projected annual electricity production: 180,000 kWh
  • System is expected to offset 6,595,294 Lbs of Carbon during its lifetime, which is equivalent to planting 76,707 trees and allowing them to grow for 10 years.
