Southwest Autism Research and Resource Center in Phoenix, AZ Goes Solar!

Royal Solar of Arizona is proud to announce that we have been able to help Southwest Autism Research and Resource Center (SARRC) in Phoenix, AZ toward their renewable energy goals by installing 2 solar electric systems totaling 172.2 kW on the roofs of their existing facilities.  These solar systems are comprised of LG 280 watt solar panels with Enphase Energy micro inverters.

Established in 1997, the Southwest Autism Research & Resource Center’s (SARRC) mission is to advance research and provide a lifetime of support for individuals with autism and their families.

We are very happy to have been able to work with the board and management of this forward-thinking organization.  The clean solar energy will be used to offset the center’s electricity usage.

Here are some statistics about the new solar systems:

  • Total Size: 172.2 kW-DC
  • Number of solar panels: 615
  • Projected annual electricity production: 300,000 kWh
  • System is expected to offset 14,465,965 Lbs of Carbon during its lifetime, which is equivalent to planting 149,386 trees and allowing them to grow for 10 years.
